Keep Tiers Separate

The Ordinary Coins Mod has eight coins, and mixing them in one chest slows you down. Sort by tier so you always know what you can upgrade next:

• Base tier: Copper Coin, Zinc Coin
• Mid tier: Iron Coin, Gold Coin
• High tier: Emerald Coin, Diamond Coin
• Top tier: Netherite Coin

Keep each group in its own row or chest section. When you open the crafting table, you can grab the exact coins a recipe needs without hunting.

Craft in Sequence, Not at Random

Every coin comes from a crafting_shaped recipe, and higher coins are built from lower ones. That means your crafting order should always run bottom-up: produce Copper Coin and Zinc Coin first, convert them to Iron Coin, then Gold Coin, then Emerald Coin and Diamond Coin, and finally Netherite Coin.

Do not craft a single high-tier coin and stop. Batch your work: make a full stack of base coins, upgrade the whole stack, and repeat. Because each step consumes the previous coin, batching keeps your counts consistent and prevents you from stranding odd numbers of mid-tier coins.

Before you start, count your target. If you want several Netherite Coins, work backward through the chain to find how many of each lower coin you must craft. Write the numbers down, then execute the recipes in order. This turns a long upgrade chain into a repeatable routine instead of guesswork.
