Crafting the Netherite Coin: Full Progression

The Top of the Chain

Netherite Coin is the highest-value coin in the Ordinary Coins Mod, and it is reached only by climbing the entire ladder of crafting_shaped recipes. You cannot skip tiers — each coin is built from the one below it.

Step-by-Step Progression

Follow the chain in order:

1. Craft Copper Coin and Zinc Coin from your base metals.

2. Combine them into Iron Coin.

3. Upgrade Iron Coin into Gold Coin.

4. Convert Gold Coin into Emerald Coin and Diamond Coin.

5. Craft Netherite Coin from the higher-tier coins.

Every recipe is crafting_shaped, so the layout on the crafting grid is fixed. Place each coin in the exact slot the pattern calls for. If the output slot stays empty, your pattern is wrong — reshuffle the inputs until the shape matches.

Planning Your Materials

Because each tier consumes the tier below, the cost compounds fast. To make a single Netherite Coin you must first craft every intermediate coin, so decide your target quantity before you start. Multiply backward through the chain: the number of Netherite Coins you want determines how many Diamond Coin, Emerald Coin, Gold Coin, Iron Coin, and base coins you need.

Craft the lower tiers in large batches at one crafting table, then run the whole stack through each upgrade in sequence. This avoids repeated trips and keeps your inventory organized as you move from Copper Coin all the way to Netherite Coin.
