Use Optimize Shaders with Fabric and Iris

Install Iris Shader Support

Optimize Shaders works cleanly with Iris, the shader loader for Fabric. Make sure you have Iris installed on your Fabric loader before attempting to load the shader pack.

Load the Shader Pack

With Iris installed, your shader options menu will appear in Video Settings. Navigate to Shaders and select Optimize Shaders from your shader folder. Iris will handle loading and applying the pack automatically.

Verify Compatibility

Launch a world and check that colored lighting is working—torches and other light sources should cast visible colored light on surrounding blocks. If the shader doesn't load, verify that Iris is properly installed and that Optimize Shaders is in your correct shader directory.

Troubleshooting

If you see no visual changes, make sure you've actually selected the shader in the menu and applied the changes. Some loaders require a world reload to apply shader changes fully.
