Decide whether to build in crimson or warped forest. Each nylium type—crimson nylium and warped nylium—features 5 distinct surface textures that blend as you place blocks. This variation makes even a simple farm feel detailed and intentional.

Design Your Growing Sections

Create separate areas for red and brown mushrooms. The resource pack gives each mushroom type 5 unique shapes, so planting them densely will showcase this variety naturally. Use bone meal to grow tall mushrooms and observe how different growth stages appear across your farm.

Layer Ground and Fungi

Place your chosen nylium as the base layer. The surface patterns will vary automatically as you build. Plant crimson and warped fungi throughout—these tall Nether plants display varied growth styles in the resource pack, adding visual complexity without requiring manual customization.

Lighting and Atmosphere

Use soul lanterns or other Nether light sources to highlight your mushroom shapes and nylium textures. The colored lighting will interact with the pack's updated fungi designs, creating an atmospheric underground garden that feels alive despite being underground.
