Breed Horses While Using the Old Model
Prepare Your Breeding Pair
Find or tame two horses in a plains or savanna biome. The Old Horse Model doesn't change horse stats, speed, or health, so breeding mechanics work exactly as normal. Tame both horses by repeatedly mounting them until hearts appear above their heads.
Feed Them to Initiate Breeding
With both horses tamed and nearby, feed each one golden apples or golden carrots. You'll see hearts appear above their heads. When both horses have been fed, they'll move toward each other and breed, producing a foal.
Observe the Foal
The newborn horse will display the classic Old Horse Model design from birth. Watch as it grows to full size—you'll see the retro proportions develop throughout its maturation. The foal inherits stats from both parents while maintaining the vintage aesthetic. Breed multiple horses to see how different coat colors and markings look with the blocky, nostalgic body shape.
