How to Build a Naval Cannon and Congreve Rocket Stand

Old Guns includes artillery pieces that use the same powder and ammunition economy as the handguns.

Naval Cannon

The Medium Naval Cannon is the fieldable cannon block. Build its carriage from Large Wooden Carriage Wheel and Large Wooden Naval Carriage. The barrel is a Large Iron Cannon Barrel; other large barrels such as Large Iron Barrel, Large Brass Barrel, Large Stone Barrel, and their flared variants are used for other large-bore builds. Load the cannon with a Large Powder Charge and a matching projectile, then fire.

Congreve Rocket Stand

The Congreve Rocket Stand is a separate emplacement. Place it, load it, and fire. It uses the same black powder supply chain, so keep High-grade Black Powder and Large Powder Charge on hand.

Powder Safety

Black powder blocks are explosive. Block of Low-grade Black Powder, Block of Medium-grade Black Powder, and Block of High-grade Black Powder all detonate, as do Blasting Powder and Blasting Powder Stick. Store them away from fire and lava. Wet blocks are safer to handle while you are still drying them into usable powder.
