Switch Between In-Game and GUI Zoom Seamlessly
Managing Multiple Zoom Contexts
Ok Boomer handles zoom differently for the game world versus menus, letting you use both without conflicts.
How It Works
- In-game zoom (Ctrl + Shift + C in the world): Affects your view of blocks, mobs, and terrain
- GUI zoom (Ctrl + Shift + C in menus): Affects your view of inventories, chests, and interface elements
- Each context maintains its own zoom level independently
Workflow Example
1. Zoom in on a distant mountain to scout for resources
2. Open your inventory without losing zoom (your inventory appears zoomed)
3. Close inventory—you return to your zoomed world view
4. Press Ctrl + Shift + C again to exit zoom and return to normal view
Notes
- Zoom state resets when you close the game
- Switching between zoom contexts is instant—no delay or stuttering
- Both zoom types use the same key combination but activate based on whether a GUI is open
