Growing and Using Baobab Fruit

Baobab trees give you Baobab Log, Baobab Leaves, Baobab Sapling, and Baobab Fruit. The fruit is the standout resource, and it also has a dedicated storage block.

Getting Baobab Fruit

Find a Baobab tree and break its leaves or harvest the fruit directly. Baobab Fruit Block is the compact storage form; craft fruit into the block to save inventory space, and break the block back down when you need the fruit again. Plant a Baobab Sapling on suitable ground to grow a new tree so you have a renewable supply.

Baobab Wood Set

Baobab Log converts to Baobab Planks, and Baobab Wood is the bark-on variant. From Baobab Planks you craft Baobab Stairs, Baobab Slab, Baobab Fence, Baobab Fence Gate, Baobab Door, Baobab Trapdoor, Baobab Pressure Plate, Baobab Button, Baobab Sign, and Baobab Hanging Sign. Baobab Bookshelf and Baobab Crafting Table round out the set.

Boats

Baobab Boat and Baobab Chest Boat are crafted from Baobab Planks. The chest boat is the better choice for long trips because it carries cargo. Keep a sapling from every tree you fell so you can replant and keep fruit and wood coming.
