How to Craft Every Jack O Lantern Variant

Gather Your Base Materials

All 24 Jack O Lantern blocks in this mod are produced through shaped crafting recipes. You need a carving base and a light source to begin. The vanilla Jack o'Lantern is your anchor item — it appears in the registry alongside the numbered variants Jack O Lantern 2 through Jack O Lantern 24.

Place your ingredients in a crafting table following a shaped pattern. Because every recipe in the mod is crafting_shaped, the arrangement of items in the grid matters — mirrored or shifted layouts will not produce a result.

Working Through the Numbered Set

The variants run from Jack O Lantern 2 up to Jack O Lantern 24, plus the base Jack o'Lantern. Each one is a distinct block with its own registry entry, so you can place them individually in the world.

Start by crafting the base Jack o'Lantern, then use it as a component when building the numbered variants. Keep a stock of pumpkins and torches on hand so you can batch-craft several variants in one session. If a recipe does not output, check that your grid layout is symmetrical in the way the recipe expects — shaped recipes reject rotated inputs.

Once crafted, each variant can be placed as a light-emitting block. Line them up along a path, wall, or ceiling to compare their appearances and pick the ones you want to use in builds.
