Set Up a Farm with Odd Carrots

Prepare Your Farmland

Odd Carrots work just like standard Minecraft carrots—they need tilled farmland to grow. Use a hoe on dirt or grass blocks near a water source to create farmland. The resource pack will automatically replace the visual appearance of carrot crops as they grow, so no special setup is needed beyond normal farming.

Plant and Watch Them Grow

Place carrot seeds into tilled farmland blocks as you normally would. The crops will progress through growth stages, and with this pack installed, you'll see the odd carrot creatures emerge and develop their expressive faces at each stage instead of the standard green carrot plants.

Water your farmland to speed up growth. Carrots will mature faster with hydration nearby. Once fully grown, the odd carrot models will be at their most detailed and animated-looking state.

Harvest Your Crop

Break fully mature odd carrot blocks to collect carrot items and seeds. The harvested carrots retain their quirky appearance in your inventory and hotbar, making your food supply look delightfully strange. You can replant seeds immediately to start a new growth cycle.
