How to Craft the Glider Wing and Parachute

Materials You Need

Both the Glider Wing and the Parachute are built from lightweight components. Gather Carbon Myofiber, Myofiber Gel, and Insulated Rubber Hose before you start. These are the same base materials used across most of the mod's wearable and deployable gear.

Crafting the Glider Wing

Combine the fabric and frame parts at a crafting table. The Glider Wing uses Carbon Myofiber for the surface and Insulated Rubber Hose for the connecting lines. Keep a Servo Motor on hand if your recipe calls for an articulated joint.

Crafting the Parachute

The Parachute follows the same logic but trades rigidity for packed volume. Use Myofiber Gel to bind the canopy and Insulated Rubber Hose for the risers. Both items are crafted with crafting_shaped recipes, so lay the components out in the grid exactly as shown in your recipe viewer.

Using Them Together

Carry both. Deploy the Glider Wing for controlled forward descent and the Parachute when you need a hard stop. If you are also running an Ion Thruster, the Glider Wing pairs well with it for sustained flight, while the Parachute is your fallback when charge runs out.
