Fine-Tune Sunlight and Torch Glow Colors

Open Color and Lighting Controls

In Shader Options, locate the lighting section. NovaShade allows separate control over natural and artificial light sources.

Adjust Sunlight Warmth

Find the sunlight color slider or RGB controls:

  • Move toward yellow/orange for warmer, golden daylight (sunset aesthetic).
  • Move toward white/blue for cooler, neutral daylight (overcast feel).
  • Adjust brightness separately to control overall intensity without changing color tone.

Customize Torch and Block Light

Torch glow and other artificial light sources have dedicated controls:

  • Increase warmth for cozy, amber-tinted indoor lighting.
  • Adjust saturation to make torch light more or less vivid.
  • Control falloff distance to determine how far light spreads.

Preview Your Changes

Build a small test area with torches, campfires, and open sky. Observe how your color adjustments look in both bright daylight and dark caves. Changes apply instantly, so experiment freely. Save your preferred settings as a custom profile if the shader supports it.
