Light Up an Area With the Illumination Wand

The Illumination Wand places light where you aim. Craft it from its shaped recipe, hold it, and use it to brighten caves, builds, or any dark spot without carrying torches. It is the wand to reach for when you are exploring and want light on demand.

Defend and Capture

The Protection Wand is your defensive tool. Craft it from its shaped recipe and use it to shield yourself or a target from harm. Keep it on your hotbar when you expect danger, such as while mining or fighting.

The Capturing Wand captures a target — useful for collecting a mob or entity you want to keep or move. Craft it from its shaped recipe, then use it on the target you want to capture. Combine it with the Displacement Wand or Swapping Wand to relocate what you have captured.

Core Progression for All Three

Each of these wands is made through a shaped crafting recipe and consumes a Wand Core or Advanced Wand Core. Craft the core first, upgrade it if the recipe calls for the advanced version, then arrange the remaining ingredients around it in the pattern shown. Carry the Illumination Wand for light, the Protection Wand for safety, and the Capturing Wand for collecting targets, so you are covered for exploration and combat alike.
