Adjust Warm Color Grading for Different Moods
Access Color Grading Options
Open the NostaLens Shaders settings panel. Look for color grading, color temperature, or tone mapping controls—these adjust the warm vintage color palette applied to your world.
Modify Warmth and Saturation
The shader applies warm tones by default (yellows, oranges, and browns). Adjust the warmth slider to increase or decrease this effect. You can also modify saturation to make colors more muted (authentic vintage) or more vibrant.
Experiment with Lighting Adjustments
Some settings allow you to adjust overall brightness and contrast. Warmer settings typically reduce blue tones and enhance reds and yellows, mimicking old film stock or aged photographs.
Test in Various Environments
Visit different biomes and times of day to see how color grading affects each. Forests, deserts, and water all respond differently to warm tones. Sunset and sunrise hours showcase the effect most dramatically.
Fine-Tune for Comfort
If the warm cast feels overwhelming, reduce it slightly. The goal is enhancing nostalgia without straining your eyes during extended play sessions.
