Adjust the Fisheye Distortion Intensity

Access Shader Settings

Open the shader configuration menu by pressing the designated shader settings key (typically accessed through your shader mod's menu, often Ctrl+Shift+O or similar depending on your loader). Look for the NostaLens Shaders options panel.

Find Distortion Controls

Locate the lens curvature or fisheye intensity slider. This setting controls how pronounced the barrel distortion appears at screen edges. Lower values produce subtle warping, while higher values create a more extreme curved effect.

Customize to Your Preference

Adjust the slider and observe the real-time changes in your game world. The distortion affects terrain, mobs, and blocks equally, creating that classic wide-angle camera look. If the effect feels too strong and causes discomfort, reduce it. For maximum nostalgic impact, increase it.

Apply and Test

Confirm your changes and move around your world to see how the distortion feels during gameplay. The effect is most noticeable when looking at distant horizons or straight edges like buildings and fences. You can return to settings anytime to fine-tune further.
