Getting Started with Noodleshader

Installation and Basic Setup

Noodleshader is a shader pack designed to enhance Minecraft's visuals without demanding high-end hardware. After installation, the shader activates automatically in your world.

The mod works best in outdoor environments where its features shine: foliage will visibly react as you move through plants and leaves, water surfaces will display reflections and gentle wave motion, and sunlight will stream dramatically through trees as godrays. Torches, fire, and lanterns gain a soft glow from bloom effects.

Shadows appear softer and more natural across terrain and structures. If performance drops, check your graphics settings—Noodleshader is optimized for mid-tier systems, but very old hardware may need adjustments. The visual enhancements are most noticeable during daytime and near water or light sources.
