Building a Yurt Tent

Yurt Sizes and Doors

The Yurt is one of the tent styles and comes in five sizes: Small Yurt, Medium Yurt, Large Yurt, Giant Yurt, and Mega Yurt. Each size has a matching door block — Small Yurt Door, Medium Yurt Door, Large Yurt Door, Giant Yurt Door, and Mega Yurt Door. Craft the door that matches the size you are building.

Assemble the Yurt

Place the Yurt frame at your chosen spot, then apply the layer blocks to build up the walls and roof. Use the Tent Mallet to finalize the structure. Because the door is size-specific, confirm you have the correct Yurt Door before finishing — a Small Yurt Door will not fit a Large Yurt.

Choosing a Size

Small and Medium Yurts suit a single player who needs a bed and a chest. Large and Giant give room for crafting stations and storage. Mega is the largest option if you want a full base interior. The size recipes use the tent_size recipe type, so you craft upward from one tier to the next.

Customize

Once the Yurt is up, you can decorate the interior freely. Keep the Tent Mallet nearby in case you need to adjust the structure later.
