Enhance Sunrise and Sunset Visuals

Locate Sky and Horizon Settings

Open the shader options menu and find the sky, atmosphere, or time-of-day section. Nocturne includes dedicated controls for how sunrise and sunset colors blend across the sky.

Adjust Color Saturation

Sunrise and sunset saturation controls how vivid the orange, pink, and purple tones appear. Increase saturation for dramatic, painterly skies, or reduce it for subtle, naturalistic transitions. Test at different times by using the time slider if available.

Control Horizon Blend

The horizon blend setting determines how smoothly colors transition from the bright sun area to the darker upper sky. A sharper blend creates defined color bands; a softer blend produces a gradual, atmospheric gradient. Adjust based on your preference for realism versus stylization.

Fine-Tune Sun and Moon Glow

Separate controls often exist for sun and moon brightness and glow size. Increase glow for a softer, more ethereal appearance, or reduce it for a sharper celestial body. This affects how the sun and moon interact with clouds and the surrounding sky.

Observe Changes Over Time

Use creative mode or a time-skip command to cycle through sunrise and sunset multiple times. This lets you see how your adjustments look across different sky conditions and cloud coverage.
