Clear vision effects from blindness and darkness status effects

Disabling effect-based fog

Status effects like Blindness and Darkness apply their own fog overlay. No Fog Perfected lets you remove these independently.

1. Open Video Settings

2. Look for effect-related fog controls (Blindness and Darkness toggles)

3. Turn off whichever effect fog you want to remove

4. Close the menu—settings save automatically

Using commands

For immediate control:

1. Type /nofog blindness toggle to remove Blindness fog

2. Type /nofog darkness toggle to remove Darkness fog

3. Press Enter

4. Verify with /nofog to see all active settings

Important note

Removing effect fog does not remove the status effect itself—you'll still take damage from Wither or other sources. This only clears the visual haze overlay, letting you navigate and fight while affected. Useful for combat situations where vision is critical.
