Elder Guardian Blindness Effect

When an Elder Guardian applies its blindness effect to you in an underwater temple, the mod removes the darkening screen overlay. You'll maintain clear visibility of the temple structure, the guardian itself, and your surroundings—critical for navigation and combat.

What Changes

Normally, Elder Guardians inflict blindness that makes your screen nearly black, making it extremely difficult to see where you're going. With this mod:

• The dark overlay disappears instantly
• You can see the temple layout and find exits
• You can locate and track the Elder Guardian visually
• Mining and combat remain fully visible

Exploring Safely

This makes temple exploration much more manageable, especially if you're low on oxygen or need to retreat quickly. You can still take the blindness effect itself (the status icon remains), but the visual impairment won't prevent you from seeing danger or finding your way out. Bring water breathing potions or conduits to extend your time underwater safely.
