Setting Up Traffic Signs at Intersections

Intersection Signs

Use 3 Way Sign at a junction where three roads meet and 4 Way Sign at a four-way crossing. All Way Sign marks a stop or yield that applies to every approach, and All Movements Permitted Sign tells drivers every turn is allowed. Where a route branches, Archery Sign and Airport Sign serve as directional markers for those destinations. Mount each sign on a post at the corner so it faces the approaching lane.

Regulatory and Warning Signs

Combine intersection signs with speed plates. Put a lower speed limit sign before the junction and a higher one after it, choosing from the km/h or Mph families. Where a hazard needs emphasis, use the Warning variants: 20 km/h Warning Sign, 30 km/h Warning Sign, 40 km/h Warning Sign, 50 km/h Warning Sign, 60 km/h Warning Sign, 70 km/h Warning Sign or 80 km/h Warning Sign. Add arrow decals on the road surface — Arrow Left Road Decal, Arrow Right Road Decal, Arrow Straight Road Decal and the combined forms — so the lane markings match the signs above them. Check the approach from each direction in turn: a driver should see the intersection sign, then the speed plate, then the road decal, in that order.
