Nice Mob Variants distributes different animal designs across specific biomes. Each biome has its own unique cat, chicken, and cow variants that won't spawn elsewhere. Savannas, snowy beaches, swamps, dark forests, and the Nether each host distinct appearances.

Exploration Strategy

1. Travel to target biomes where you want specific variants. Use a map mod or biome finder if needed to locate them faster.

2. Search for custom structures like Fallen Mushrooms, Potato Farms, Graveyards, Monoliths, and End Farms—these often concentrate rare variants in their areas.

3. Collect eggs or breed animals you find. Use a name tag to capture variants, or breed them in pens to establish a collection.

4. Transport variants home by breeding them or using transport methods like boats and leads.

Pro Tips

• Roosters and Ender animals have special mechanics: Roosters crow at dawn without laying eggs, while Ender animals teleport when damaged—keep this in mind when transporting them.
• Rare variants like Skeleton cows or Soul Sand cats may require more exploration; check multiple biomes and structures.
• Use the Livestock Breeder block once you've found variants to establish a breeding population at your base.
