Create a Custom Bird Farm with Eggs and Variants

Available Bird Types

Nice Mob Variants adds five custom bird species beyond standard chickens: Ducks, Penguins, Flamingos, Ostriches, and Cluckshrooms. Each has unique eggs and can be bred like normal chickens once obtained.

Setting Up Your Bird Farm

1. Locate bird variants by exploring biomes and structures where they naturally spawn.

2. Collect eggs from these birds or breed them to produce custom eggs.

3. Build a dedicated pen with adequate space and lighting for your bird collection.

4. Place a Livestock Breeder block in the pen to automate breeding of your birds.

5. Hatch eggs by placing them in the pen—chicks will grow into adult variants.

Special Mechanics

• Roosters are a chicken variant that crow at dawn but don't lay eggs—keep them separate if you want egg production.
• Cluckshrooms are a unique mushroom-themed chicken variant.
• Rename any standard chicken to "Benny" with a name tag to transform it into a Duck.
• Each bird type produces its own custom egg, making collection and breeding more rewarding.
