Capture Better Screenshots Without Performance Loss
Use Screenshot Mode Effectively
NEXA LowShader maintains frame rate stability even when taking screenshots, so you don't need to worry about stuttering mid-capture. Position yourself in good lighting—natural sunlight or well-lit areas show off the shader's soft shadows and color accuracy best.
Compose Your Shot
- Timing: Take screenshots during daytime for clearest colors and most visible shadow detail. Sunset and sunrise also create dramatic lighting.
- Angle: Shoot from angles where shadows fall across terrain or structures—this showcases the shader's soft shadow work.
- Distance: Step back slightly from your subject so the shader's depth effects (PBR surfaces, lighting gradients) become visible.
Settings for Screenshots
If your shader has a screenshot or cinematic mode, enable it—this may temporarily boost quality without affecting gameplay performance. Otherwise, standard gameplay settings work fine. The vanilla-like color palette means your screenshots will look natural and won't require heavy editing to look good.
