Gathering the Nether Ingredients

Nether Stew, Soul Berry Pips and Soulless Pastry form the food side of the mod. Soul Berry Pips are the starting item for the pastry line. Collect Soul Berry Pips first, then use them in crafting to work toward Soulless Pastry.

Cooking Nether Stew

Nether Stew is crafted from the mod's food and plant ingredients. Before you attempt it, make sure you have the intermediate items it requires on hand, since the stew sits at the end of a short chain rather than being made from raw materials. Gather your cinder and faar outputs first, then craft the stew.

Finishing Soulless Pastry

Soulless Pastry is crafted from Soul Berry Pips and other ingredients. Because the pastry depends on pips, do not spend your entire Soul Berry Pips stock on other recipes. Set aside enough pips for each pastry you intend to make, then craft in batches.

Storage and Batch Crafting

Keep Soul Berry Pips, Nether Stew and Soulless Pastry in separate containers. Batch your crafting: produce several stews or pastries at once so you are not repeatedly opening the crafting grid for single items. Check each recipe's required form before crafting, since block forms and loose items are not interchangeable.
