Near Spores are your starting point for the twig chain. Once you have Near Spores in hand, plant them to begin producing the plant material that feeds every other recipe in this progression. Harvest the resulting growth to obtain Near Twigs, the base resource used across the mod.

Turning Twigs into Blocks

Near Twigs are used both as a crafting ingredient and as a storage block. Combine Near Twigs through a crafting recipe to produce a Block of Near Twigs. This block is useful for compact storage and as a crafting ingredient in later recipes.

What to Do Next

Once you have a steady supply of Near Twigs and Blocks of Near Twigs, you can branch into the other chains. Near Twigs feed into recipes involving Faar Seeds and Bundle of Faars, while the block form is used where a denser ingredient is required. Keep a stock of both the loose twigs and the block form so you are not caught short when a recipe calls for one or the other.

Prioritise expanding your Near Spores plot early. The more twigs you harvest, the faster you can craft the intermediate items that gate the rest of the mod's content.
