Adjust Exposure and Brightness for Your Playstyle

Access Shader Settings

Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the key bound to shader settings (typically accessed through your mod menu or by pressing a dedicated key). Look for the NaturalVision profile in your shader list and select it to view its configuration panel.

Customize Exposure Levels

Locate the exposure or brightness adjustment sliders. These control how quickly your view adapts when moving between light and dark areas. If caves feel too dark for your preference, increase the exposure value slightly. If bright daylight feels washed out, reduce it to preserve detail in highlights.

Fine-Tune for Different Environments

Test your changes by moving between contrasting areas—exit a cave into sunlight, then return indoors. Watch how your vision adjusts. The shader should feel natural, not jarring. If adaptation feels too slow or too fast, adjust the eye adaptation speed slider if available.

Save Your Preferences

Once satisfied, confirm your settings are saved. Most shader menus auto-save, but check your mod's documentation to ensure changes persist across sessions. Your custom exposure settings will now apply to all worlds.
