Setting Up a Pebble and Twig Stockpile

Why a Stockpile Matters

Every early recipe in the mod consumes Pebbles and Twigs, and tools break. If you rely on what is in your inventory, you will run out mid-project. A stockpile near your crafting table solves this.

Building the Stockpile

Place a row of chests beside your crafting table. Label or mentally assign one chest to Twigs, one to Stone Pebble, one to Deepslate Pebble, and one to the remaining stone pebbles: Andesite Pebble, Diorite Pebble, Granite Pebble, Tuff Pebble, Dripstone Pebble, Sandstone Pebble, Red Sandstone Pebble, Netherrack Pebble, and End Stone Pebble. Give the ore pebbles their own chest: Veridium Pebble, Asurine Pebble, Crimsite Pebble, Ochrum Pebble, Scorchia Pebble, and Scoria Pebble.

Keeping It Full

Every time you return from exploring, empty your pockets into the chests before crafting. Sweep the ground around your base and along paths you walk often, since pebbles and Twigs respawn over time. When you craft a Flint Hatchet, Bone Knife, Bone Pickaxe, or Flint Saw, pull from the stockpile and immediately note what ran low so you can refill it on the next trip. A full stockpile means you never have to stop a build to go hunting for a single Twig.
