Weapons and Tools: Kunai, Swords, and Gunbai

Throwables

Explosive Kunai and Flying Thunder God Kunai are the two kunai in the registry. Explosive Kunai detonates on impact — throw it at a group or at a door you want gone. Flying Thunder God Kunai is the teleport-marking kunai; throw it, then use the associated technique to move to where it landed. Fuma Shuriken is the large thrown blade for longer-range hits.

Melee

Asuma Chakra Blade is the reward from C-Rank Mission: Asuma's Chakra Blade and is a straight upgrade over bare hands. Blade Of Lightning is the lightning-element sword. Hiramekarei has two alternate forms in the registry — Hiramekarei Hammer Form and Hiramekarei Twinsword-form — so you can switch its shape depending on whether you want a heavy swing or fast paired strikes. Iron Stick and Gunbai are the blunt options; Gunbai doubles as a fan-style weapon.

Loadout Advice

Carry one throwable and one melee. Explosive Kunai plus Asuma Chakra Blade covers most early fights. Once you have a Release Technique online, swap the melee for Blade Of Lightning or a Hiramekarei form and keep Flying Thunder God Kunai for escapes. Fuma Shuriken is worth a slot if you expect open-field combat where you can throw before closing distance.
