Crafting and Using Amaterasu

Amaterasu is gated behind the Sharingan route. You need Itachi Mangekyou Sharingan Release and Itachi Mangekyou Sharingan Release Technique in your inventory before the black flames become usable. The Coercion Sharingan item is the other Sharingan-family entry in the registry and follows the same DNA-plus-Release pattern used by every other nature.

Place and Cast

Amaterasu exists both as an item and as a placed block. When you cast it, the block form appears at the target location and burns there. Enemies walking into the Amaterasu block take damage over time, and it does not behave like normal fire — it stays where it lands. Use it to lock down a corridor, seal a doorway, or drop it on a boss that keeps repositioning.

Practical Uses

Because the block persists, cast Amaterasu on the ground in front of a charging opponent rather than directly at them; they will run into it. Pair it with Explosive Kunai to force a target to move, then drop Amaterasu where they land. If you are fighting in an enclosed base, place Amaterasu at the only exit so nothing walks out alive. Keep a Chakra Nature Reset on hand if you ever want to abandon the Sharingan line and reroll into a different Release Technique.
