How to Find and Catch Vanillite

Locating Vanillite

Vanillite spawns in cold biomes throughout your world. Search in snowy areas, frozen plains, ice spikes biomes, and other cold-climate regions. These creatures prefer icy terrain, so focus your search where snow falls naturally and ice blocks are common.

Catching Vanillite

Approach Vanillite carefully and weaken it before attempting capture. Use Pokémon moves to lower its health to the yellow or red zone without fainting it. Vanillite is an Ice-type, so plan your team accordingly—use moves that won't accidentally knock it out.

Throw a Poké Ball once its health is sufficiently low. Standard Poké Balls work, but Ultra Balls or other specialized Poké Balls improve your success rate. Applying status conditions like paralysis or sleep before throwing increases your catch chance significantly.

Securing Your Catch

After catching Vanillite, add it to your team to begin training. You'll need to level it to 35 for the first evolution, then to 47 for the final form. Keep it in your active party during battles to gain experience efficiently.
