How to Use Maple Leaf Litter, Maple Leaf Piles, and Butterfly Nests

Maple Leaf Litter and Maple Leaf Pile are two separate ground-cover blocks. A third variant, Orange Maple Leaf Litter and Orange Maple Leaf Pile, gives you a warmer color. Use them to carpet forest floors, garden paths, and the ground beneath Maple trees.

Build a fall scene

Place Maple Leaf Pile in thicker patches where you want depth, and scatter Maple Leaf Litter around the edges to soften the transition into grass or dirt. Mix in the Orange variants to break up large areas so the ground does not read as one flat color. Because litter and piles are distinct blocks, you can layer them side by side for a natural, uneven look.

Add Butterfly Nests

Butterfly Nest is a placeable block that fits the same outdoor theme. Set nests among the leaf cover, on tree trunks, or under eaves so they read as part of the environment rather than a standalone decoration. Combine nests with Maple Leaf Pile clusters to suggest a sheltered garden corner.

Tie it to Maple wood

Pair the leaf blocks with Maple Planks, Maple Wood, Maple Fence, and Maple Stairs so the ground cover matches the trees and structures above it. A Maple path lined with Maple Fence and dotted with Butterfly Nests gives a consistent autumn build without pulling in materials from other wood sets.
