How to Grow and Harvest Cherries and Bake a Cherry Pie

Getting Cherry Plants Started

Baking the Pie

With Cherries in hand, craft a Cherry Pie using a shaped crafting recipe. The Cherry Pie is a placeable block, not just a held food item, so you can set it down and interact with it to eat slices. This makes it useful as a shared food source at a base or farm.

Practical Setup

Build a small cherry plot near your kitchen area. Harvest mature plants, replant immediately, and bank the surplus Cherries for pies. Because Cherry Pie places as a block, keep one crafted pie on hand for group eating and store extra Cherries in a chest nearby. If you also keep Chocolate Milk Bucket or other cake items, group your dessert blocks together so you always know where your food station is. Replanting right after each harvest keeps the cycle short and means you rarely run out of Cherries when you want to bake.
