Crafting the Glass Jar

A Glass Jar is the container you need before you can collect Chocolate Milk. Craft it with the standard glass recipe shape using glass blocks in a crafting table. Once you have the jar in your inventory, keep it on you whenever you head toward a Chocolate Cow.

Filling It With Chocolate Milk

Find a Chocolate Cow and use the Glass Jar on it the same way you would use a bucket on a normal cow. This produces a Chocolate Milk Bucket. The Chocolate Milk Bucket is the item you actually carry and drink from; the Glass Jar is the empty container that starts the process.

If you want to store or transport the milk, hold onto the Chocolate Milk Bucket rather than the empty jar. You can drink it directly, or keep it as an ingredient for later use. Because the jar is reusable in the sense that you need one per milking, craft a few extras before a trip so you are not caught empty-handed in the field.
