How to Craft and Place Chocolate Cake and Frosted Cakes with Candles

Crafting the Cakes

Chocolate Cake is made through a crafting recipe. Frosted Cakes come in colored variants: Cyan Frosted Cake and Lime Frosted Cake are the base frosted cakes, and each has candle-topped versions in every dye color, such as Cyan Frosted Cake with Red Candle or Lime Frosted Cake with Blue Candle. Placing and Using

All of these are placeable blocks. Set a cake down on a solid surface and interact with it to eat a slice. Candle-topped cakes combine the cake and the candle into a single block, so you get the decoration and the food in one placement instead of stacking them separately.

Because there are so many color combinations, decide on a storage system. Keep plain Chocolate Cake and the two base Frosted Cakes in one chest, then group candle variants by color. When building a dessert table, place one cake per color theme and leave space between them so slices are easy to reach. If you are decorating for a build, pick the candle color that matches the room and place the matching cake variant directly, rather than placing a cake and a candle as two blocks.
