How to Bake and Place Every Cake in Mystic's Biomes

Gather the cake lineup

Six cake blocks are available: Chocolate Cake, Cherry Pie, Peach Pie, and the frosted cakes in Cyan, Lime, Orange, Pink, and Purple. Cherry Pie and Peach Pie are their own baked items, while the frosted cakes and Chocolate Cake are placeable cake blocks.

Bake them

Cakes and pies come out of the mod's smelting recipes. Load your ingredients into a furnace and smelt to produce the finished item. Keep fuel stocked, since you will likely be baking several at once for a build or a server event.

Place and serve

Once baked, place Chocolate Cake and the frosted cakes (Cyan Frosted Cake, Lime Frosted Cake, Orange Frosted Cake, Pink Frosted Cake, Purple Frosted Cake) on a solid block like a normal cake. Players right-click to take a slice. Cherry Pie and Peach Pie are handled as pie items rather than full cake blocks, so serve them directly rather than placing them.

Use them in builds

Frosted cakes work well as café counters, party tables, and bakery displays because each color reads as a different flavor. Chocolate Cake anchors a dessert spread, while Cherry Pie and Peach Pie fill out the menu. Group two or three frosted colors together for a display case effect, and keep a spare of each on hand so you can restock after players eat through them.
