Gathering Fur, Tufts, Blubber and Dusk Ash

Animal Drops

Several Mystical Wildlife animals drop materials other than meat. Dusk Lurker drops Dusk Lurker Fur and Dusk Lurker Fur Tuft. Vrontausaurus drops Vrontausaurus Fur and Vrontausaurus Fur Tuft. Plumper drops Plumper Blubber. Dusk Ash is a separate mod material you will want in stock alongside these.

Farming the Animals

Use the matching spawn egg to bring each animal into your world: Dusk Lurker Spawn Egg, Vrontausaurus Spawn Egg, and Plumper Spawn Egg. Defeat the animal to collect its fur, tuft, or blubber drop. Keep the animals in a fenced area so you can repeat the process without chasing them.

Storing Materials

Fur, fur tufts, blubber, and Dusk Ash are crafting inputs. The mod has three shaped crafting recipes, so keep a steady supply of each material rather than a single stack. Label chests by material name so you can pull the correct item when a recipe calls for it.

Cooking the Meat

Dusk Lurker, Vrontausaurus, and Plumper also drop raw meat: Raw Dusk Lurker, Raw Vrontausaurus, and Raw Plumper. Cook these into Cooked Dusk Lurker, Cooked Vrontausaurus, and Cooked Plumper using a furnace, smoker, or campfire. Do not discard the raw meat while you are farming for fur and blubber.
