How to Craft Essence and Use the Infusion Altar

Getting Essence

Essence is the core material. Each essence corresponds to a resource — for example Air Essence, Coal Essence, Copper Essence, Diamond Essence, Emerald Essence, Blaze Essence, Creeper Essence, Cow Essence, and many more. Grow the matching crop on farmland, harvest it, and you receive that essence. Essences are also produced by processing with the Ore Infuser and related machines.

Infusion Crafting

The Infusion Altar and Infusion Pedestal handle mysticalagriculture:infusion recipes (57 of them). Place the Infusion Altar down, put Infusion Pedestals around it, and place the required essence and base items on the pedestals. The altar combines them into the result.

Use infusion to build up your gear tiers. Inferium Block, Prudentium Block, Tertium Block, Imperium Block, Supremium Block, and Awakened Supremium Block are the tier blocks. From these you craft the corresponding Ingot Blocks and Gemstone Blocks, then tools and armor such as Awakened Supremium Pickaxe, Awakened Supremium Sword, Awakened Supremium Chestplate, and Awakened Supremium Boots.

Augments also come from infusion. Blank Augment is the base, and you infuse it into things like Absorption I Augment through Absorption V Augment, Attack Aoe I Augment through Attack Aoe Iii Augment, and Blindness Resistance Augment. Apply augments to your gear to change how it behaves.
