How to Automate Farms with Machines and Modular Routers
Core Machines
Mystical Agriculture machines run on a shared base: the Machine Frame. Build Machine Frames first, then craft the machines you need from them.
- Harvester: collects mature crops from farmland.
- Seed Reprocessor: converts seeds into other seeds using
mysticalagriculture:reprocessorrecipes (136 of them). - Ore Infuser: processes materials into essence.
- Soul Extractor: works with Soulium and soulstone materials.
- Enchanter: applies enchantments.
- Essence Vessel: stores essence.
- Soulium Spawner: spawns mobs, built from Soulium Block and related soulstone blocks.
Soulstone building blocks — Soulstone, Smooth Soulstone, Soulstone Bricks, Chiseled Soulstone Bricks, Cracked Soulstone Bricks, Cobbled Soulstone Slab, Cobbled Soulstone Stairs, Cobbled Soulstone Wall, Soulstone Bricks Slab, Soulstone Bricks Stairs, Soulstone Bricks Wall, Soulstone Slab, Soulstone Stairs, Smooth Soulstone Slab, and Soul Glass — are used to build and decorate the machine area.
Routing Items
Use Modular Routers to move items between machines. Point a router at a Harvester to pull harvested crops, then at a Seed Reprocessor to feed seeds in, and at an Essence Vessel to store essence. Route the reprocessor output back to farmland as new seeds. Chain Ore Infuser output into storage. Because all machines share the Machine Frame base, you can place them in a row and route between them with a single controller setup.
