Crafting the Insanium Paxel

The Insanium Paxel combines the functions of a pickaxe, axe, and shovel in one tool. It is produced through a cucumber:shaped_transfer_damage recipe, meaning the tool you feed into the recipe passes its remaining durability onto the finished Paxel. Use a nearly full-durability tool as the transfer source so the Paxel starts with as much durability as possible.

Using the Paxel

Once crafted, the Insanium Paxel mines stone, dirt, gravel, and wood without switching tools. Right-click behaviour follows standard tool rules for the block you target. Because the Paxel is a single item covering three jobs, it saves inventory space on long mining trips. Pair it with an Insanium Shovel only if you want a dedicated digger, or skip the Shovel entirely and let the Paxel handle it.

Repair and Replacement

When the Paxel wears down, craft a replacement using the same cucumber:shaped_transfer_damage recipe and a fresh tool as the transfer source. Do not discard a low-durability Paxel — feed it into the recipe to carry its remaining durability forward into the new one, wasting nothing.
