How to Play a Music Score at a Music Block
The Music Block is the playback device. A Music Score is the data it reads. You need both, plus a way to trigger the block.
Setup
Place a Music Block where you want the sound to originate. Right-click it while holding a Music Score to load that score into the block. The block now holds the song and will play it when triggered.
Triggering playback
Use the Music Venue Tool on the block to configure how it starts. The Music Venue Info Panel shows the current state of the block and any venue settings attached to it. Placard State can be used to display or toggle the block's status so nearby players know whether it is armed.
Choosing instruments
A Music Score can drive any of the instrument items, including Piano, Violin, Flute, Harp, Guitar Steel, Sax Alto, Timpani, Xylophone, Pipe Organ 1, Pipe Organ 2, and the Section Strings and Section Brass groups. The score decides which instrument plays each part; the block does not need a physical instrument item placed next to it.
Multi-part songs
For layered arrangements, use Multi Inst to combine several instrument parts into one playback. Load the combined score into the Music Block and trigger it once — every part fires together. Test with a single part first, then add layers so you can isolate a wrong note without unpicking the whole arrangement.
