Attaching Scopes, Grips, and Stocks to Your Gun
Craft the Attachment at the Workbench
Attachments are made the same way as guns: at the Workbench, using the cgm:workbench recipe type. The attachment list covers three scope tiers, three grip tiers, three stock tiers, and a Silencer.
Scopes: Short Scope, Medium Scope, Long Scope.
Grips: Light Grip, Specialised Grip.
Stocks: Light Stock, Tactical Stock, Weighted Stock.
Muzzle: Silencer.
Craft the ones that suit your weapon and playstyle, then carry them with you.
Install and Swap Attachments
With the gun in hand, open the attachment interface for that weapon. Each gun exposes specific attachment slots — a scope slot, a grip slot, a stock slot, and where supported a muzzle slot. Place the crafted attachment into the matching slot to mount it. Removing an attachment returns it to you so you can move it to another compatible gun.
Choose by role. A Short Scope or Medium Scope keeps the Pistol and Machine Pistol usable at mid range, while a Long Scope belongs on the Rifle, Assault Rifle, or Heavy Rifle. A Light Grip or Specialised Grip steadies recoil; a Light Stock, Tactical Stock, or Weighted Stock changes how the gun handles during sustained fire. The Silencer mounts on the muzzle slot of weapons that accept it.
Not every attachment fits every gun. If a slot is missing, that weapon does not support that attachment category, so plan your Workbench crafting around the guns you actually carry.
