Crafting the Backpack

Craft the Backpack using a shaped crafting recipe. Place the required materials in the crafting grid in the correct pattern to produce one Backpack. Once crafted, it appears in your inventory like any other item.

Equipping and Using It

Hold the Backpack and use it to equip it to your back. While equipped, you can open it to access its storage without holding it in your hand. This frees up your hotbar and inventory slots for other items.

To remove the Backpack, open your inventory or use the equip key again. The Backpack returns to your inventory with all stored items intact.

Practical Tips

• Equip the Backpack before long mining trips or exploration so you can carry more without returning to base.
• The Backpack stays equipped through combat and movement, so you do not need to re-equip it constantly.
• If you need to store the Backpack itself, unequip it first, then place it in a chest or your inventory.

Combine the Backpack with a Backpack Dock or Backpack Shelf later to keep it accessible at your base when not in use.
