Crafting the Naga Fang Dagger and Spear

Naga Fang Dagger

The Naga Fang Dagger is a melee weapon crafted with a shaped recipe at a crafting table. Lay the ingredients out in the required pattern rather than dropping them loosely, or the recipe will not register. Once crafted, hold it in your main hand and attack as normal.

Spear

The Spear is also produced by a shaped recipe. Like the dagger, it needs the correct grid arrangement. Craft it the same way — at a crafting table, matching the pattern exactly.

Choosing Between Them

Both are melee options, so the choice is about which shaped recipe you can supply first. If you have the materials for one but not the other, craft what you can and use it while gathering the rest.

Practical Order

1. Collect the ingredients each shaped recipe calls for.

2. Craft the Naga Fang Dagger and/or the Spear at a crafting table.

3. Equip one in your main hand and attack mobs directly.

Neither weapon consumes ammunition, so once crafted they are permanent additions to your kit. Keep both if you have the materials — there is no downside to carrying a spare melee weapon.
