Understanding Hedge Components

Hedges in this mod use custom post and side models that connect visually, creating a bushy fence appearance. Posts form the vertical structure, while sides fill in the gaps between posts.

Steps:

1. Place hedge posts in a line where you want your fence, spacing them one block apart

2. Fill the spaces between posts with hedge side blocks

3. The sides will automatically orient to connect with adjacent posts

4. Continue this pattern for your desired fence length

5. Adjust height by stacking posts vertically if needed

Customizing Your Hedge

Different leaf types create different hedge aesthetics—oak hedges look dense and rounded, while spruce hedges appear more angular. Mix hedge types along your fence line for visual interest. You can also place hedge blocks at corners and angles; the custom models will adjust their appearance based on neighboring blocks.

Hedges work well as property borders, garden enclosures, or decorative screens around your base.
