Enable Motion Blur for Smoother Camera Movement
Accessing Shader Settings
MotionFlow's motion blur effect is controlled through the shader options menu. Open your in-game settings and navigate to the Graphics or Shaders section. Look for the MotionFlow configuration panel—this is where you'll find all fluid motion parameters.
Adjusting Motion Blur Intensity
Locate the motion blur or fluid motion slider within the shader settings. This controls how pronounced the smoothing effect appears when you turn your camera or move forward. Lower values create subtle smoothing that feels natural, while higher values produce more noticeable blur trails during rapid movement.
Optimizing for Your Hardware
If you're on older hardware, start with a moderate motion blur setting. You can gradually increase it until you notice frame rate drops, then dial it back slightly. The beauty of MotionFlow is that even at higher blur settings, performance remains stable compared to other shader packs.
Test your changes by moving around your world—look side to side quickly and walk through different terrain. Adjust the slider until the motion feels smooth without making you feel disoriented. Save your settings when satisfied.
