How to Make Copper Armor in MoreVanillaArmor

Copper armor is a solid mid-early set that uses a material you can mine in bulk from copper ore veins. It bridges the gap between Bone and the rarer sets.

Gathering Copper

Mine copper ore and smelt it into copper ingots. You need enough ingots for four pieces, so bring a full stack of ore home before you start crafting.

Crafting the Set

On a crafting table, arrange copper ingots in the standard helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots shapes. This produces Copper Helmet, Copper Chestplate, Copper Leggings, and Copper Boots. The recipes are shaped, so follow the vanilla armor layouts precisely.

Where It Fits

Copper is a good upgrade from Stone and Bone once you have a steady ingot supply. After Copper, look at Quartz, Prismarine, or Obsidian depending on which biome or dimension you are working in. Keep a spare Copper Chestplate in your base chest so a death does not send you back to Wooden gear.
