How to Craft Obsidian, Nether, and Ender Armor

These three sets are your late-game targets. Each requires material from a dangerous location, so plan a dedicated trip for each.

Obsidian Armor

Mine obsidian with a diamond pickaxe, or create it with water and lava. Craft Obsidian Helmet, Obsidian Chestplate, Obsidian Leggings, and Obsidian Boots in the standard armor shapes. Obsidian is slow to gather, so make the chestplate first.

Nether Armor

Nether armor uses materials found in the Nether. Gather your Nether resources, then craft Nether Helmet, Nether Chestplate, Nether Leggings, and Nether Boots using the same shaped recipes.

Ender Armor

Ender armor requires Ender materials, typically from Enderman kills or the End. Craft Ender Helmet, Ender Chestplate, Ender Leggings, and Ender Boots.

Order of Operations

Build Obsidian first if you already have a diamond pickaxe, then Nether, then Ender. All three share the same four shaped recipes, so the crafting itself is identical — only the material grind differs.
