Crafting Fiery, Glowstone, Redstone, Slime, and Paper Armor

These sets use unusual materials and are worth making for specific situations or as collection pieces. Each uses the same four shaped armor recipes.

Fiery and Glowstone Armor

Fiery armor uses Fiery materials, typically found in Nether fortresses. Craft Fiery Helmet, Fiery Chestplate, Fiery Leggings, and Fiery Boots. Glowstone armor uses glowstone from the Nether ceiling — craft Glowstone Helmet, Glowstone Chestplate, Glowstone Leggings, and Glowstone Boots.

Redstone and Slime Armor

Redstone armor uses redstone dust from ore. Craft Redstone Helmet, Redstone Chestplate, Redstone Leggings, and Redstone Boots. Slime armor uses slime balls from slimes — craft Slime Helmet, Slime Chestplate, Slime Leggings, and Slime Boots.

Paper Armor

Paper armor uses paper made from sugar cane. Craft Paper Helmet, Paper Chestplate, Paper Leggings, and Paper Boots. It is the cheapest of this group and useful as a throwaway set.

Practical Notes

Because every set uses the same shaped layouts, you can craft any of these as soon as you have the material. Keep one chest dedicated to spare pieces so a death never leaves you unarmored.
