Teleporting Totem of Undying

The Teleporting Totem of Undying is crafted with a shaped recipe using a vanilla Totem of Undying plus the teleport-themed ingredient. Lay the items out in the exact pattern in a crafting table and take the result from the output slot. When you take fatal damage, the totem is consumed and teleports you instead of killing you — useful for escaping a losing fight or a trap.

Tentacled Totem of Undying

The Tentacled Totem of Undying also uses a shaped recipe: a Totem of Undying combined with the tentacled ingredient in the fixed grid layout. Craft it the same way, confirming the output slot shows the Tentacled Totem of Undying before removing it. On lethal damage it activates its tentacled effect and is consumed.

Carrying and Triggering

Keep both totems in your inventory, hotbar, or offhand. They activate automatically when you would die, so no manual use is required. Each totem is single-use — craft backups if you expect multiple close calls. Because both recipes are shaped, the ingredient arrangement is strict; rearranging the grid will not yield the totem.
